Vacation Time To Be Spent Working In Greensburg

I will be taking a bit of a vacation next week from being the editor of The Ledger. I will off starting the last week of May and be back by June 4.

This won’t be a lounging vacation, though, as I will be in Greensburg, Kan., working with student journalists from Wichita State University.

As a group, we will be telling the story of how Greensburg is continuing to recover following the E-F5 tornado that decimated the community.

We will be writing stories, shooting pictures and video and recording audio pieces about the town. At the end, a glossy magazine will be produced to help share the work we’ve done.

To keep up on what we as a group produce, visit www.greensburgrebirth.com. I will also be posting a lot here at www.voiceofthevogts.com.
