It was a press flight to help promote the fact the historic plane was going to be in Wichita this weekend at Jabara Airport.
I was there with The McPherson (Kan.) Sentinel, and it was an amazing experience.
While being in that plane, I really got an idea of what it must have been like for the brave souls who fought in WWII and manned those planes, which are refereed to as “flying fortresses.”
