Progress slow on reading list

via http://www.scholastic.com/

At the end of May I posted about my Top 15 Books To Read This Summer. Well, I’m here today to report that I’m less than pleased with my progress. I have only finished one book, which is The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes (complete and unabridged) by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I have started Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking by Susan Cain, but I’m not satisfied. This far into summer, and I’ve only read one book? That’s pathetic.

I’m going to soldier on, though. I want to read all of those books, and the many others that have overtaken my office.

Of course, I think I would have made more progress if it weren’t for how crazy my summer has been. I’ve been busy, and I will be posted about those tasks very soon.

In the mean time, let me know what books you’ve read this summer. I’m always interested in knowing what others are reading. The best way to share those is by connecting with me on Goodreads. You can find me at http://www.goodreads.com/toddvogts.
