Inman man indicted on child porn charges

According to Salina.com, the online home of the Salina Journal, an Inman, Kan., man is being “charged in federal court with receiving and distributing child pornography over the Internet, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Wichita announced Wednesday,” the article said.

Kevin C. Chapin, 42,”was indicted by a federal grand jury meeting in Wichita,” The Journal reported.

According to the article, Chapin is believed to have committed “the crimes between May 18, 2009, and March 26 in McPherson County.”

If he is convicted, Chapin could face five to 20 years in a federal prison and fines up to $250,000.

  1. the government had no right to barge into someones life and give more years in jail to a a guy who put no harm to any child what so ever than any person that shot and killed a family member, this government is rigged and selfish

    • i couldnt agree more, this man is the most kind hearted man i know and there are alot worse people out there that the government should be focused on. It makes me sick.
