My parents still live where I grew up — on a farm south of Canton.
Growing up, I remember several occasions when we were flooded in. One time my car even got filled with water up to the windows when the water reached a record level.
Things haven’t changed as you can see from these pictures my brother Troy shot today and sent to me.
He said he had to walk through the field to get to the house because the water was so high. I think it’s time my family invested in a boat.
