Surgery goes well

Friday I had my shoulder surgery in Great Bend. I went in at 3:45 p.m. I came out at 5:45 p.m.

My surgeon, Dr. Fleske, said everything went well. I had 6 or 7 bone anchors put in to re-attach the ligaments to the bone.

I’m not in any pain right now because they did a nerve block that has rendered my arm numb from my shoulder to my finger tips. Not being able to use my hand is driving me nuts though.

I am recovering at my parents’ home, but I hope to head back to Ransom and work as soon as possible. When I remove the dressing tonight to shower, I will post a picture of my shoulder.
