Droid purchase postponed

Well, looks like I won’t be getting a Droid tonight after all.

It is snowing here in Ransom. I ventured out in an attempt to go to the Verizon store in Hays, but within two miles I almost slid off the road twice.

Combine that with the fact the place closes as 7 p.m. and practice didn’t get out until 6 p.m., which would have made it a race against time anyway, it wasn’t my night to get a new phone.

Even though the purchase, or serious exploration into the matter at least, is postponed, I still want to try and get one.

With Thanksgiving break starting Wednesday, I have hopes of finding a Verizon store closer to my home of Canton, where I will be for the break, and looking into the matter further.

I will post on this blog when that happens.
