This site primarily serves as the online home for the writings of Todd R. Vogts (PhD, Kansas State University, 2023), an academic who researches and teaches communication, media and journalism topics. He also works as a journalist, and he lives in Kansas. Research Interests & Activities

Dr. Vogts’s research focuses on mis- and disinformation, the intersection of media and democracy, sports media, community and rural journalism, and journalism education. He has advised student media and taught a variety of courses in communication, journalism, and digital media.
