About This Site

This site primarily serves as the online home for the writings of Todd R. Vogts (PhD, Kansas State University, 2023), an assistant professor of media in Kansas, and as a resource for his journalism students. It also houses other elements of his life, such as his work as an author and entrepreneur. Take a look around. There’s something here for everyone.

Research Interests & Activities

Dr. Vogts’s research focuses on mis- and disinformation, the intersection of media and democracy, sports media, community and rural journalism, and journalism education. He advises student media and teaches courses in communication, journalism, and digital media.
