Kansas Senate to honor WPHS Journalism

Tomorrow at 8 a.m. WPHS Journalism will be honored by the Kansas Senate. Sen. Ralph Ostmeyer will read a resolution highlighting the accomplishments of the program, such as last year’s Kansas Scholastic Press Association contest wins.

To watch it live, go to www.kslegislature.org and click on the “A/V Live” link in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Then choose the Senate option. The streaming of the event begins at 8 a.m.

This is a great honor, and I couldn’t be prouder.

Ostmeyer’s office told me we will be getting a copy of the resolution in the mail too.
