WPHS gets coverage in Hutch News

You know this Honor Flight a few Western Plains High School students are participating in that I’ve been talking about? Well, they left Wednesday, and today they visited, among other things, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

If you want to know more about their first day or what the project is, check out http://wphshonorflight.posterous.com or look at some of my “Uncategorized” posts or the first link in this post.

The point of this post is to promote the coverage of the group. The Hutchinson News came out Wednesday and covered their departure.

It is a pretty good article.

The only way it could have been better if there was more focus on why the students and the veterans decided to do this and what they were anticipating experiencing.

But. It was a pretty good piece anyway. Check it out here: http://www.hutchnews.com/Todaystop/Ransom-parade–1
